1. What shows cover or had plus-size fashion model in them?

Men's fashion is still in question. Christian Siriano has been the only designer to feature plus-sized women in his show for NYFW.

2. Why is plus-size or big and tall fashion for men overlooked?

Body-consciousness and masculinity within the male fashion community is so fragile. I truly don't think the fashion world is ready to accept the thick man in fashion yet. The image "we" have of man is not in that caliber yet.

3. What designers are getting it right when it comes to plus-size fashion for men and women?

Honestly, I don't believe any are. Christian Siriano is the only one that stepped outside the box for plus-sized women and actually catered to her body and what she would like to wear, instead of what "they" think a woman of extra size should wear. It's really sad.

4. What was your favorite fashion show that hosted plus-size model(s) and how was the audience response?

Again, I would have to say Christian Siriano set the bar REALLY high for the plus sized community! The audience was amazed. He captured the essence of the thicker madame effortlessly.

5. Why is it taking designers, so long to include men of size in fashion?

When you think of men's fashion, ideally, plus sized men are not your top candidates. Stores have just now started including men of the thicker brand into their sizes and even then, not ALL men are included. Male designers are very particular about whom they want in their clothes. It's very political.

6. What designer killed fashion week in your opinion?

Seriously, this past fashion week for NY was a total let down. Same color palettes, similar designs, same trends. No bars were set to challenge the creative mind. That's a let down for New York.

7. What trends did you see that are hot for any man?

This past Men's New York Fashion Week, we saw trends of guys wearing turtlenecks, with scarves tied around their neck with suiting. Real Parisian chic for men.

8. Favorite fall and winter accessories?

It's imperative that ALL men have a couple of baseball caps, beanies, and fedoras. You also have to have at least 1 to 2 interchangeable solid colored bombers, and a nice camel coat for your winter needs. Classic! You can't go wrong!

9. Thoughts on having plus-size men and women in fashion?

In this day and age we are in. It's really important that in fashion we have the visibility of plus sized men and women in fashion. They are not invisible, and quite frankly, they have a unique and very tasteful sense of style. I, for one, would love to see more designers embrace this community on their runways.

10. What designer should we all be looking out for that cover plus-size fashion?

So far in Mainstream fashion, for plus-sized wear, we only have Christian Siriano to look forward to. Maybe for the upcoming FW17 fashion week, we may have more designers embrace the idea. The bar has been set. Hopefully, the designers will accept the challenge.
